Work Experience & Careers

Work experience
Work experience is a great opportunity for young people to grow and develop. It can help build confidence, expand horizons and inspire future choices. It is a valuable opportunity to lean skills valued by employers and gives young people insight into the world of work, helping them make more informed decisions about their future study and career options.

We offer a number of work experience placements each year to students from schools and college in Camden and Islington. Please contact us at for more details.

We also work with Inspire! an Education Business Partnership operating in Hackney, Camden and Islington. Inspire! helps to link employers and employer volunteers with schools and young people. Inspire’s aim is to motivate and support young people to raise their levels of achievement and aspiration, gain relevant work related skills and develop an understanding of the world of work.

We also participate in careers events at local primary and secondary schools, having worked with Elizabeth Garrett Anderson school, St Aloysious and William Ellis School on Present Yourself Days. These events are designed to help young people develop their interview skills and enhance their CV.

We have also worked with local primary schools such as Argyle and Brecknock, taking part in careers events in which our staff members meet pupils and explain what they do in their job. Our aim is to help educate local young people on careers and professions that they may not have considered.
