: Farringdon Support Office

Purpose of role:

To provide efficient administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the Farringdon Support office and People team.

Office Management & Reception:

  • Organizing the office layout and ordering stationery and equipment
  • Maintaining the office condition and arranging necessary repairs
  • Reception duties, including answering incoming calls and greeting visitors
  • Ensuring new starters have access to the building and understand office procedures
  • Booking meeting rooms
  • Manages health and safety as well as fire regulations within the office


  • Managing the recruitment administration process
  • Ensuring communication of live roles to People team and hiring managers
  • Placing adverts on recruitment platforms as agreed with the Recruitment Manager
  • CV screening, phone screening of candidates and arranging interviews
  • Managing the offer process



  • Supporting the L&D manager with course organisation – booking of delegates, joining instructions, updating systems, room set up and obtaining feedback
  • Training new managers in relevant people related systems
  • Delivering company induction to new starters
  • Supporting L&D related projects as required


HR Generalist:

  • Ensuring offer letters, contracts and job changes  are accurate  and sent out in a timely manner and adhere to internal compliance and processes
  • Ensuring integrity of data on People Matters
  • Support with file audits to ensure compliance to key legal processes including GDPR and right to work
  • Support with employee and manager queries on all general queries
  • Support with Employee Relations issues  generating letters, note taking and drafting of responses
  • Lead on Employee Relations issues such as disciplinaries, grievances (development objective)
  • Support People projects as required



  • Experience gained within a People / HR team in a support role in a medium or large organisation
  • An interest in HR
  • Strong organisation skills with a proven ability to manage a varied workload
  • Experience with an HR database
  • Experience in dealing with multiple stakeholders
  • Intermediate level on Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience of following and improving processes
  • Strong attention to detail
