King’s Cross has a new epicentre for design
The self-taught designer brings his iconic work – including the ‘S Chair’ and the ‘Melt’ pendant light – to the Bagley Walk Arches at Coal Drops Yard. This gorgeous canalside shop and gallery is also home to The Coal Office restaurant and roof terrace – a collaboration between acclaimed chef Assaf Granit and Tom Dixon.
Functioning as a live studio combining shop, workshop and office, you’ll find a lighting shop, haberdashery, furniture shop, perfumery and gift shop. Plus look out for workshops and events at The Factory, which invites the public down into the coal arches to take part in workshops.
Tom Dixon is open Monday – Saturday: 10am – 8pm and Sunday and Bank Holidays: 11am – 5pm.
You’ll find the store and studio just off Granary Square at Coal Drops Yard, the new shopping district at King’s Cross.
