From Friday 4 September, Canopy Market, the much loved weekly market in the heart of King’s Cross, is returning to its original location under the restored Victorian glass and steel roof of West Handyside Canopy.
The return follows a summer sojourn to neighbouring King’s Cross location Coal Drops Yard. Back in West Handyside Canopy, the market is bringing back its popular street food and drinks traders, and full set of individually sourced, independent producers, fresh produce, artisan food, unique craft drinks and music.
At a time when people are seeking out local products and looking to support independent businesses more than ever, Canopy Market brings an eclectic line-up of London’s best artisan traders offering everything from farm-fresh produce, street food and craft drinks to independent designer-makers, jewellery and homewares. Regular visitors also have the opportunity to do their weekly food shopping, buying directly from food traders of exceptional quality, supporting independent, ethical and sustainable food producers.
Market favourites include fresh, handmade Bolognese pasta from Love Farina, cult South London bakery Little Bread Pedlar and hand-blended authentic Masala Chai from Amala Chai. To satisfy the sweet tooth hand-filled authentic Sicilian cannoli from Casa Cannoli and London’s original sourdough doughnut dons Crosstown Doughnuts will be available alongside a rotating range of local craft, art and designer-makers.
Canopy Market is FREE to attend and will trade Friday (11am-7pm), Saturday (11am-6pm) and Sunday (12-6pm) from 4 September 2020.
