Welcoming a host of exceptional NEW traders, The Market Larder will offer regular visitors the opportunity to do their weekly shop on the market, buying direct from food traders of exceptional quality, supporting independent, ethical and sustainable food producers. All under the beautiful restored Victorian steel and glass roof of the West Handyside Canopy.
Individually sourced, selected and supported by independent producers,Canopy Market brings together fresh produce, artisan food, unique craft traders and original art alongside street food, craft drinks and music every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
New traders on the market include the highly acclaimed and only entirely whole carcass butcher in the capital, The Butchery and Jock Stark & Son’s, historic fruit and veg traders specialising in a careful selection of the season’s best fruit and veg, along with WOOP Olive Oil Bar presenting the finest Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oils, Borough Cheese hand-selected cheeses from the Franche-Comté region in Eastern France; Heritage Cheese, showcasing the finest cheese-makers from the British Isles; artisan bread is provided from leading artisan London bakery Little Bread Pedlar, famed for their prize-winning pastries; Rosebud Preserves traditional jams, chutneys pickles and relishes made from seasonal and wild fruit and flowers in the wild Yorkshire Dales; world famous Colchester oysters and Slavo’s Seafood House, sustainable salmon from the pristine island waters off Shetland, cured in a small smokery in Maldon on the Essex coast and winner of three coveted stars at The Great Taste Awards 2019.

The Butchery – third-generation butcher Nathan Mills and partner Ruth Siwinski supply some of the best restaurants and chefs in London – and now their native breed meat will be available at Canopy Market.
The highly acclaimed South London butchers – the only entirely whole carcass butcher in the capital – work closely with farmers to source the best meat, which they then dry-age for maximum flavour.
