King’s Cross is being transformed into a hub of health for a free one-day wellness festival. FestiWell is a go-to for yogis, gym bunnies, pavement pounders, the tentatively energetic and those seeking a healthy lifestyle in London.

Sample some of London’s best fitness classes on Granary Square, from boxing, yoga and bootcamps to Bollywood dance workshops and classes for new and expectant mums.

For those a little indifferent to a high heart rate and heavy breathing, gong baths, massages and Tai Chi can be enjoyed in the relaxed surroundings of Lewis Cubitt Park. Enquiring minds can drop into Lewis Cubitt Square for interesting talks and panels on nutrition, mediation and mental health. Those little grey cells need exercising too.

Younger visitors can enjoy soft play, climbing, kayaking and pond dipping on Regent’s Canal, whilst you try delicious food that aids mind, body and soul. Think quinoa, smoothies and protein balls from the likes of [list a few traders]…avocados abound here.

Speaking about the programme, Ellie Beedham, King’s Cross, said:

“Festiwell is a new celebration of health, wellbeing and fitness set in the coolest new central London urban landscape, King’s’ Cross N1C. We look forward to visitors exploring King’s Cross N1C, leaving feeling healthier, stronger and happier! ”

Festiwell 2017 is on Sunday 6 August 12noon to 5pm.
