Radio London Hair Salon and Gallery, one of London’s best boutique salons, will open its largest space yet in the heart of King’s Cross in May 2017. This will be the fourth Radio Salon, building on the success of salons in Broadway Market and Redchurch Street in Shoreditch and the buzzing blow dry bar in Fenwicks department store.
Radio: King’s Cross will open a hair and beauty salon and gallery in May in a 2,635 sq ft space in the ArtHouse building, N1C, next to West Handyside Canopy and Wharf Road Gardens; the announcement follows the recent openings of other wellness brands Nike, Frame Yoga and Maple & King’s.
Radio: King’s Cross will also double as a gallery space, exhibiting work from artists on a four month rotation. The salon supports all areas of art from photography, painting, illustration or sculpture, from both new up and coming and well established artists. More details of the interior design and the opening events programme will be revealed shortly.
Corrado Tevere founder and creative director of Radio London says:
“King’s Cross makes perfect sense for the launch of our largest salon to date. The vibrant creative work and residential hub that has emerged since the redevelopment of the area fits our ethos perfectly and we are looking forward to adding beauty to the hair and gallery services we offer for the first time.”
Claire Levitt, Project Director, Argent (King’s Cross) said:
“Radio is the ideal brand for King’s Cross. The salon will sit perfectly next to existing fitness studios, restaurants and markets in a canal side location, below the ArtHouse apartments. The brand reinforces how far the retail offer has come at King’s Cross and provides a much anticipated quality hair and beauty concept.”
