Christmas at King’s Cross

Christmas comes to King’s Cross with festive lights, markets and two-tonne ‘Ice Cube’ Christmas tree

Posted: Wednesday 7th December 2016

Come to King’s Cross this festive season to shop, eat, drink and be merry!

There are three shopping experiences planned, a chance to sing ‘alternative’ Christmas songs with School of Life, a massive tree sculpture in Granary Square, and a backdrop of lights and decorations.

Kicking off for advent, visitors should put Illustrator’s Christmas Fair, Wallpaper Magazine’s Hygge Christmas Market, Lighterman Christmas Tree shop, Alternative Christmas Carols, Skip Garden Fire Feast and FRAME’s Festive Yoga Workshops in their diaries. Most events are free (some have a small ticket price).

Fighting fire with ice cream, a giant Christmas tree suspended in a seven-metre ‘cube of ice’ by British artist Alex Chinneck, will be on display in Granary Square until the 6 January 2017 and is well worth a visit for its instagrammable properties.

Full details of the Christmas programme are listed below, and available to view here:
