Parrillan is taking a break for the winter. Back in spring 2020 when the warmer weather arrives.
Parrillan is the alfresco terrace bar and grill restaurant from the team behind Barrafina. Led by Executive Chef Angel Zapata Martin, the restaurant is in a gorgeous spot on the upper level of Coal Drops Yard with views out over Regent’s Canal.
The restaurant serves an amplified ‘para picar’ tapas list to start – Cantabrian AA anchovies, escalivada, Presa Iberica and Barrafina favourite, Banderillas feature. The main event however is the ‘parrilla’ or grill. Your waiter brings beautifully seasoned cuts of meat, seafood and vegetables for you to cook to your liking on your own mini charcoal parrilla. Choose from the likes of 50-day aged steak, tender Iberica pork or diver-caught scallops. A selection of delicious salsas accompany the grill including salvitxada – a Catalan romesco.
The all-Spanish wine list will offer wines by the glass starting from £5 and bottles starting from £25, as well as a selection of fine sherries. Or make your way through Parrillan’s excellent cocktail list, we particularly recommend the Spanish G&Ts.
