E.H. Shepard is best known for his drawings for Winnie the Pooh and The Wind in the Willows.  This exhibition focuses on a different side to this great illustrator’s work – it is the first to explore Shepard’s illustrations from the trenches on the Western Front and in Italy during the Great War. It includes over a hundred original artworks – many never seen before.

The exhibition will be at House of Illustration until January 2016. Find out more about E.H Shepard: An Illustrator’s War and the other exhibitions, talks and workshops at House of Illustration programme.
