King’s Cross in Bloom

Posted: Monday 16th June 2014

For a few days at the beginning of June, the canal side steps at King’s Cross were festooned with 35,000 flowers.

The reason was King’s Cross in Bloom, a celebration of the new green spaces being created in N1C and all part of Chelsea Fringe.

The installation got the press excited with The Times, ITV London and Londonist all running articles about it.

The highlight was the flower take away over the weekend, which saw people come and buy the flowers for a donation to charity, raising over £1,500.
