Summer Stories – back and bigger than ever

Posted: Thursday 12th June 2014

Get ready for a summer of celebration, fun, food and festival at King’s Cross with Summer Stories.

There really is something for everyone with an amazing line-up of events including Strawberries and Screen, which will see the big screen return to Granary Square in time for Andy Murray to (hopefully) win Wimbledon again, and the Floating Cinema, which will be mooring by the canalside steps as the sun sets so visitors can soak up some Chinese culture through film.

And following last year’s incredibly popular and immersive Journeys festival, which whisked people back to Victorian times, there will this year be a summer festival extravaganza all based on the Roman Empire and its presence in London in 61AD. Battle Bridge – Boudica vs the Romans will most certainly be one not to be missed!

Other events taking place will be:

  • Yard Sale
  • King’s Cross Sports Day
  • Store – a pop-up British retail festival
  • Wallpaper* Magazine Exhibition
  • House of Illustration Housewarming season
  • Poetry Trail
  • KERB Saturdays
  • Tête-à-Tête Opera Festival

We will be releasing more information on all these events soon so get your diary ready and keep checking the latest news and the @kingscrossN1C twitter account so that you don’t miss a thing!
