Check out Kings Place mini-series Outlandish Nights, which is co-curated by acclaimed songwriters Alasdair Roberts and Emily Portman and reflects the darker and more leftfield elements in contemporary folk music.

Running from the 27-29 March, highlights include Alasdair Roberts and Robin Robertson’s ‘Hirta Songs’, the London debut of The Furrow Collective with special guest Marry Waterson, a late show from Festival favourites Moulettes and the Emily Portman Trio with Mary Hampton and Debs Newbold.
