The civic square on Stable Street at King's Cross

Kerb Brunch, a collaboration with Emerald Street, in Lewis Cubitt Square, King's CrossAt the top of the Coal Drops Yard shopping area, and just around the corner from Granary Square, you’ll find Lewis Cubitt Square. This charming park is designed by Laurie Olin who also designed Bryant Park in New York. The square features Laurie’s hallmark arching water jets and is a great spot to relax, play, have some lunch and enjoy the goings-on from the seating nestled among the trees and flowerbeds. Please note that the fountains are not operating for the time being due to COVID19.

With space for over 2,000 people, the square regularly hosts markets, concerts and events like Art Car Boot, Classic Car Boot and the Cubitt Sessions concert series. You can find out what’s happening at King’s Cross this season here. The square can also be hired for public and private events. Find out about hiring event space at King’s Cross.

The square also plays host to artworks and installations such as Rana Begum’s No. 700 Reflectors, The Face covers archive, and Palm Temple by Luke Jerram.
