It's going to be a cracking Easter at King's Cross with a whole two weeks of fun activities, and of course the big finale on Easter weekend with the 4-day Easter Canopy Market featuring a petting zoo and the great Easter Egg Hunt. Plus don't miss the 'Flower Power' take-over at Coal Drops Yard.

All aboard the Easter Express!
Jump on the 1960’s vintage Dotto classic land train at Granary Square (with a Flower Power makeover!). Then it’s full steam ahead to Coal Drops Yard for Easter fun.

The Big Easter Egg Hunt
It’s on! Grab a map a join the hunt around Canopy Market, find the clues and win some delicious Easter eggs. There’s a chocolate treat for everyone who takes part.

Canopy Market Petting Zoo
Say hello to the guinea-pigs, rabbits, chickens and ducks and (we hope!) chicks and ducklings at the Canopy Market petting zoo. Every day over the Easter weekend, the team from Vauxhall City Farm will be on hand to tell you all about the animals and give you a chance to meet and pet them.

Free Face Painting
Face painting always brings a smile. The London Facepainters will be on hand to transform your little ones. Head to the STORE selfie dioramas afterwards to capture their alter ego.

Daily Art and Craft Activities
Every day for 17 days, there will be FREE workshops and activities for all ages. Think classic Easter fun – like egg decorating and Easter bonnet making – but with an arty twist. Guest makers from Crafty Fox, Made in Arts London, students from Central Saint Martins and whole host of makers, illustrators and designers will be bringing something new to do every day.
Crafty Fox Workshops: 6, 8, 9 & 11–19 April, 12-5pm
Makers from Crafty Fox will be sharing their skills, helping you make weird and wonderful Easter takeaways.
The Amazing Art Cart: 10 April, 12-5pm
This versatile mobile art station will making a stop at King’s Cross to run stylish, creative workshops for all ages.
Easter Bonnet Making: 20 & 21 April, 12-5pm
Artist Kemi Onabulé will be crafting nature-themed Easter head wear in her own unique style.
Easter Egg Painting with Kuniko Maeda: 22 April, 12-5pm
Japanese artist and designer, Kuniko Maeda will be showing visitors how to bring contemporary art to this classic Easter activity.

hicce Junior Chefs
Take your budding chefs to hicce this Easter half term. Starting at 10.30am daily, the kids will dive straight into an Easter egg hunt, followed by a Willy Wonka-esq chocolate egg painting class. Then it’s a healthy, nutritious lunch with a homemade sugar-free soft drink. 5yrs+ lunch booking required. Parents must accompany children throughout.

Animal Wellbeing Workshop
Join the experts from the Royal Veterinary College for a workshop that teaches you about how animals eat, sleep and play. If you have a pet, or are thinking about getting one, you’ll learn how to understand and care for them better.

Learn how to make and decorate beautiful polyhedra shapes using “The Geometrist” method.
“The Geometrist” is a paper DIY kit to make models of polyhedra in paper, designed by Tomoko Azumi and TNA Design Studio. The first series consists of templates for the Platonic Solids, 5 regular polyhedra known from ancient times. This workshop will guide you in how to make and decorate paper geometrical structures as Easter decorations. Using only a pencil, a pair of scissors and paper glue, a simple craft process will enable you to create beautiful polyhedra shapes.
