hicce is the first stand-alone venture from Pip Lacey, former head chef at Michelin-starred Murano and winner of the 2017 Great British Menu.
Located above the new Wolf and Badger store at Coal Drops Yard, the menu takes inspiration from Lacey’s travels, offering modern European cuisine with Japanese and Scandinavian influences. Expect delicious yakitori style hot sticks, home-made rye bread, accompanied by cured meats, seasonal cheeses and fresh pickles from the sharing-style menu.
Her friend and business partner, Gordy McIntyre is responsible for drinks and front-of-house. Gordy has skillfully chosen a selection local craft beers, biodynamic wines and cocktails to compliment every plate.
Hicce is open Mon – Wed 12 noon – 11pm, Thurs – Sat 12 noon – midnight and Sun 12 moon – 9pm.
