Fitness programmes for all at King's Cross

Tuesday evening Boot Camp, a rigorous workout for keeping fit at Cubitt Square, King's CrossWhether you’re a proper gym bunny or more of a couch potato, we’ve got just the thing to whip you into shape!

MW5 Run Club

This is a free running club meeting at King’s Cross. The 5km run is guided by personal trainer Martin Whitelock, and is suitable for all abilities – from newbies to seasoned marathon runners.
The route is designed to give you a flavour of this exciting part of London, taking you through urban landscapes, parks and waterways. See London from a different angle, socialise, get fit and have fun.

Session times: Mondays at 12.15pm and Wednesdays at 6pm. Check the events calendar for the meeting point. Run KX is free, just register here to join.

MW5 Bootcamp

This bootcamp is a high-intensity interval training session based outdoors. The workout is designed to provide a high-calorie burn using a variety of different equipment. You’ll be encouraged to test your body and push your limits, but always within your ability levels. The session is led by Martin Whitelock. His tough but sensible training approach is not your typical military-style bootcamp.

Frame Fitness Studio

The cult fitness outfit FRAME has three studios at the King’s Cross branch – fitness (complete with punch bags and kettlebells), the yoga and barre area, and a Pilates studio, with ten state-of-the-art reformer machines.

You can guide your own workout, or choose from the schedule. There are trainer-lead weightlifting sessions, cardio routines to get your heart pumping, and a range of yoga and Pilates classes. On-site, there are high-spec shower rooms and changing facilities, equipped with hairdryers, straighteners, shampoo and conditioner. After your workout, head to the café, Fuel at Frame where you can pick up a healthy salad, protein bowls, juices and smoothies. Find Frame Studio in Arthouse on York Way.

Moss Pilates Studio

You’ll find the Moss Pilates studios at 27 Canal Reach.

There are two state-of-the-art studios decked out with a range of equipment – including reformer machines – to get you moving, stretching, and engaging that core.

Moss offers studio circuit classes for up to six participants, a small group club and the option to book for private 1-1 sessions. Book your class, and find the full schedule, here.


Nike+ Running Club

Every Tuesday, join Nike Central King’s Cross for fun and social running club session.

You’ll receive expert guidance from the Nike+ Run Club coaches and pacers, and learn how to reach your full potential as a runner.

The 7km route starts and finishes at Nike Central on King’s Boulevard, and lasts between 60 – 90 minutes. Bring your friends and get ready to make a few more! Get more information, book your place and join the global community.

The Fore

Beer+Burger Running ClubBeer+Burger, Running Club, King's Cross

This fitness social takes place on the first Saturday of every month. The club runs 10K together, and then meets at Beer+Burger afterwards for a beer…on the house.

There is no need to register. Just show up at the King’s Cross branch of Beer+Burger just before 11 AM, ready to run.
