The Coal Office restaurant has teamed up with Tom Dixon and is offering the very best in local produce and a daily takeaway menu of nourishing soups or stews, and freshly baked bread. Fresh vegetables are being sourced straight from the fields of Dorset, Kent and Cornwall, and quality wine from Liberty Wines is also available.
Each day, you can visit @coaloffice on Instagram to find out what recipes will be available the next day. You can then pre-order the cooked dishes, or visit Coal Office to pick up ingredients and make it yourself. If you are self-isolating, Coal Office can deliver by Boris Bike or Deliveroo. Coal Office will be open Monday to Saturday, 10am – 7pm at 4-10 Bagley Walk, Kings Cross, London N1C 4DH.
It will operate contactless shopping, pre-ordering, and online payment. No cash. Coal Office are also giving NHS workers 50% off.
Any unsold food will be donated to Shelter from the Storm, a local food bank, and TooGoodToGo.
The Coal Office team will be travelling to and from work with their own transport (bikes, walking, cars), and will ensure we follow the government guidelines very strictly.
