To keep you pedalling strong, we’re offering cyclists free monthly Dr Bikes (bike checks) in Battle Bridge Place, provided for King’s Cross by the London Cycling Campaign (LCC).
Bring your bike to Battle Bridge Place for a free Dr Bike check-up and expert advice from 12.30-6.30 pm on the first Wednesday of every month: 5 February, 4 March, 1 April, 6 May, 3 June, 1 July, 5 August, 2 September, 7 October, 4 November and 3 December 2020.
These free MOTs are open to all cyclists who live, work or study in the King’s Cross area, so feel free to drop by. The team will check and tune-up your bike, undertake free minor repairs and diagnose more complex repairs. They are also happy to provide general advice on cycling and cycle route planning in London.
London Cycling Campaign works to make cycling in London safer and more enjoyable for everyone. If you work at King’s Cross, you’ll get preferential rates on LCC membership, which includes free third party insurance, fantastic cycling discounts online and in bike shops, and a free copy of London Cyclist magazine. Find out more here.
Plus if you want to encourage cycling in your organisation, LCC can visit your building to talk to staff about how they can cycle to work or how your organisation can encourage more active or sustainable travel. These services are offered at a discounted rate for organisations on the Kings Cross estate. Find out more and contact LCC here.
