This year, the festival will be hosted by Olly Smith, award-winning wine expert, TV personality, author and columnist. The event will focus on everything from understanding the Greek indigenous grape varieties to the influence of terroir, with incredible Greek food and a jubilant atmosphere to boot.
The festival will showcase around 150 labels from some of the best Greek wine producers plus various masterclasses and talks will take place throughout the two-day event.
Food is supplied by The Greek Larder – think meze platters, seasonal filo pie, lamb souvlaki and of course a bar with the best Greek wine & beer. With live music and dance acts, it’s set to be an entertaining couple of days.
The festival is taking place at West Handyside Canopy, just off Granary Square, from 10am to 5pm on both days.
“We are so thrilled about this exciting, independent festival devoted to unearthing the dazzling array of wines from my native country. Our passion has always been to champion, promote and serve the very best Greek food and wine”. Theodore Kyriakou, Founder of The Greek Larder
