An immersive performance exploring the themes of ageing and the body from dance troupe Neon Dance at The Place

Friday 12th October 2018 - Saturday 13th October 2018

Dance company Neon Dance is set to bring its exciting collaborative style to The Place.

The 60-minute installation performance is inspired by the famously visionary artist/architect duo Arakawa and Madeline Gins, whose work in the 1960s sought to prove that ‘aging can be outlawed.’ Combining dance, immersive set design, and a surround-sound score, the performance is designed to encourage the audience to question their attitudes to ageing and the body.

Three exquisite dance artists drive the performance with wearable body sculptures from award-winning artist Ana Rajcevic, creating curious imprints of choreographed action.

PUZZLECREATURE performances take place on Friday 12 October at 7.30pm, and Saturday 13 October at 3pm & 7.30pm, with a Q&A after the show on Friday. Book your tickets here.
