Ourhaus Festival – 100 Years of Bauhaus

Monday 21st October 2019 - Friday 25th October 2019

2019 marks a century since the founding of the world-famous art movement.  University of the Arts London celebrates its relationship with the Bauhaus with this festival which reengages and reinterprets the legacy of the influential school of art. Look out for performances, workshops, exhibitions, screenings and talks. You can purchase a full festival pass, or book tickets for individual events.

Bauhaus Rules with Vic Reeves’ screening plus a panel discussion
Don’t miss this screening of ‘Bauhaus Rules with Vic Reeves’, a BBC documentary challenging six graduates of Central Saint Martins to create a new work of art, design or performance, sticking strictly to rules inspired by the artists who taught at the Bauhaus.  Followed by a panel discussion.

OurHaus Festival: UnserHaus (Tim Meara and Lucy Alexander)
Join the Unserhaus and respond to Herbert Bayer’s celebrated Universal typeface by designing and printing a two-colour screen-printed poster, analysing letterforms and stencil cutting.
