Magnum 70 x 70 Light Exhibition

70 iconic images from 70 years of Magnum Photos

Wednesday 17th May 2017 - Thursday 15th June 2017

Magnum, the world-famous photo agency is 70 this year!

To mark the occasion, an exhibition of 70 iconic photos shot by Magnum photographers will be on view, celebrating the diversity of the Magnum Photos agency and how its photographers have borne witness to major events of the last 70 years.

The exhibition charts a potted history of Magnum, including early photography by Magnum’s founding fathers, the introduction of colour photographers such as Harry Gruyaert and Bruno Barbey, through to the contemporary practice of photographers working in a more art medium, such as Alec Soth and Alessandra Sanguinetti.

The exhibition is presented in the 90m-long ambient light tunnel at King’s Cross Station.
