Spring has sprung! Come and celebrate the opening of Lewis Cubitt Park and Square

Saturday 28th March 2015

Join us on Saturday 28th March for our spring fête.

There’s fun and games for all the family, music, dancing, food and drink. The festivities will start at 11am and run until 4pm. Here’s some of what’s in store…

Foot-stomping live music and dancing courtesy of Licence to Ceilidh  The Gypsy Pearls and SOAS Ceilidh Band.

14:45 SOAS Ceilidh Band

Licence to Ceilidh – Scottish folk music & social dancing. Traditional ceilidh band meets modern funky rhythms.
The Gypsy Pearls – a swinging gypsy duo
SOAS Ceilidh Band – traditional music with a few other bits and bobs thrown in for good measure! Get a taste here.

kids activitiesFun and games

Try your luck at croquet and giant games on the grassy lawns of Lewis Cubitt Park. There’s jenga, dominoes, pick-up sticks and skittles to choose from.

Live performance

Gideon Reeling and his ‘associates’ will be providing the entertainment in the form of The Village Fête Committee.

Food and drink

Plenty of seasonal treats from Waffle On, Notes Coffee, Bob’s Lobster, The London Barbecue, GOD Bakery, London Marshmallows, Half Hitch Gin and Gosnells London Mead

There’s also a pop-up photo parlour and creative activities for kids led by Artburst

The festivities are taking place in the new public spaces at King’s Cross – Lewis Cubitt Park and Square. Head for Granary Square and then follow the fun along Stable Street.
