King's Cross Canal Festival 17- 18 June Two days of watery fun at the King’s Cross Canal Festival

Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th of June, the canal towpath at King’s Cross comes alive as a regatta floats into town. Expect circus performances, live music, river tours, fun activities for all the family, delicious food, and of course fleets of colourful narrowboats.

This is a free, unticketed event. Just turn up and enjoy!

Sit back and enjoy

Be wowed by Chinese pole and other incredible circus shows from Circumference, the Kings Cross resident circus company.

Climb into a hammock, nestled under the trees and enjoy Lifeboat, the slowest ride on earth from the Institute of Crazy Dancing.

Watch out for the cheeky plant pots by Bureau of Silly Ideas!

Catch some captivating circus cabaret from Collectiv and Then, the UKs only floating circus boat.

Here’s a taste of the activities that you can join in with over the two days

Cruise the canal with boat trips from Laburnum Boat Club (Please note there is a £5 charge for adults, kids go free. Tours run every 30 mins).

Create your own paper flowers and floral headpieces with Anna Bruder and help grow the floral bridge over the weekend.

At St Pancras Crusing Club, take afternoon tea and homemade cake atop the iconic water tower, discover the history of the canal, take a peek at personal narrowboats on a private tour, or relax in the tranquil canalside garden with live acoustic music.

Camley Street Natural Park at King's CrossDart and dance with the dragonflies and pond-dipping activities at Camley Nature Reserve, a wildlife oasis right in the middle of busy King’s Cross (Sat only).

Climb aboard the Canal and River Trust’s beautiful boat Jena, and learn about the canals and how you can get involved.

Green-fingered garden fans can unearth the secrets of Kings Cross landscaping and the new Gasholder Park with guided walking tours (every hour). The tours are part of Open Garden Squares weekend.

Wind up the gramophone, grab a game and kick back and relax on our historic Village Butty barge, the UK’s floating community hall.

Immerse yourself in Rosie, the Smallest Canal Museum, and have a go at some traditional canal crafts.
