On Friday 5th and Saturday 6th May, KERB brings you London’s first ever fried chicken festival! Head to West Handyside Canopy, where you can sample twice buttermilk-soaked hot sauce Cajun strips, savour chilli-chocolate popcorn tenders, indulge in ginger beer jerk mango boulders, and munch on sides of pickled slaw, cassava sticks, cheese fries and street corn.
The bar will be serving classics, alongside Bacardi Mojito cocktails and Beavertown beer. Live music, DJ’s and robo-chicken racing too! This is KERB’s ultimate line up of fried chicken to try before you kick it, with a line up of:
Mother Clucker – Tea-brined, twice buttermilk soaked Cajun chicken strips with hot sauce
Other Side Fried – Cocoa chilli and maple fillets with coriander mayo
Only Jerkin – Ginger beer battered jerk or mango nuggets with jerk gravy
Bill or Beak – Szechuan miso tenders with fermented green chilli hot sauce
Daja Chicken – Taiwanese style tenders
Killa Dilla – ‘KDFC’ double-coated in chipotle salt and crushed Chilli Heatwave tortilla chips
Mother Flipper – Korean spicy wings
Petare – Masa fried pieces with guava glaze and habanero mayo
