Illustrating the stories of refugees

House of Illustration presents a thought-provoking new exhibition, Journeys Drawn: Illustration from the Refugee Crisis. The exhibition tells the stories of refugees through art – some observed, and some experienced first-hand.

The exhibition showcases multi-media work from 13 contemporary illustrators, including Oliver Kugler’s portraits from Calais, George Butler’s reportage from Syria, animation by Majid Adin, and manga by Asia Alfasi.

Journeys Drawn: Illustration from the Refugee Crisis is on display from 9 November until 10 March 2019 from 10am to 6pm daily, excluding Mondays. Read more, and book your tickets here.
