Workshop: Creating Graphic Novels

A ten-week masterclass in graphic storytelling at House of Illustration

Sunday 15th April 2018 - Sunday 24th June 2018

Join tutor Carol Adlam for a friendly and informal introduction to graphic novels at House of Illustration.

Running over ten weeks, the course covers the fundamentals of visual storytelling, gives an insight into the industry and provides all the steps you need to create your own graphic novel.

Get to grips with developing characters, building a sequence, creating storyboards, penciling and inking, and assembling a dummy.

You don’t need to have any prior experience of illustration or graphic novels – just a desire to create compelling stories through text and image.

Introduction to Creating Graphic Novels takes place on Sundays 2.30pm – 5.30pm at House of Illustration from 15 April – 24 June.
