Free lunchtime talk: Bees for a Better World

Friday 13th May 2016

Support the bees!

As part of the Bees for a Better World exhibition, the King’s Cross Visitor Centre is hosting a free lunchtime talk with the exhibition curator, Nicole Van den Eijnde of Global Generation and Alison Benjamin, co-founder of Urban Bees and author of Bees in the City.

Come and learn more about these wonderful flying insects, their role in pollination and why they are so important for our survival.  You’ll hear about the work Global Generation does to encourage bees here at King’s Cross, and how communities can learn from the way bees work together as part of a larger organism.

You will also be to pick up some tips on how to encourage bees into your garden/outdoor space.
