This Mother’s Day, St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel is hosting an afternoon of floral pom pom making and afternoon tea with Central Saint Martins alumni and founder of the Pom Pom Factory Karen Hsu.
Enjoy a welcome drink and canapés before Karen begins her floral masterclass and shares her expertise in crafting beautiful paper floral arrangements that you can take home and display.
Following the masterclass, enjoy afternoon tea in the striking Hansom Lounge and embrace European tradition with a modern twist. On the menu, a selection of delicious afternoon treats including Jambon Blanc Flume and Salmon Dutch pancakes paired with the likes of the Paris-Brest-Paris or Strawberries and Cream and of course the classic Scones, Cream and Jam.

About the Pom Pom Factory
Karen Hsu graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2007. She started creating with paper when she was working at Mercantile store in Spitalfields Market. Using paper tissue at hand in the store, she shaped them into birds, origami of all sorts, and pom pom flowers. Since then, Karen has worked with the likes of Selfridges, Hobbs and Nicole Farhi, as well as French labels Naf Naf and Bonpoint.
