The capital’s biggest and most eclectic pan-city music festival is back with a knockout line up.
Here at King’s Cross, there’s a whole series of concerts and happenings at Kings Place. Veteran Cuban violinist Omar Puente teams up with Courtney Pine, Alex Wilson and Dennis Rollins for a special tribute event. EFG London Jazz Festival artist in residence Terri Lyne Carrington hosts a number of performances and shows. Plus don’t miss Eisenstein’s Battleship Potemkin – live scored by Jan Bang and Matt Calvert.
Meanwhile, at Spiritland on Friday 15th, Mr Bongo bring eclectic and unexpected Brazilian, Latin, pan-African, jazz, soul, reggae and psychedelic flavours to the dance-floor with a bottomless stock of weird and wonderful selections. And on Sat 16, Outernational Sounds label boss, Harv visits Spiritland for an evening of global and deep jazz.
