A Txoko is a long-held Northern Spanish tradition – a club where lovers of food and wine come together to experiment with new ways of cooking, to eat, drink and socialise.
Experience this gastronomic feast for the senses yourself at Waitrose Cookery School. On Thursday 8th March, join wine expert Karen Jaen as she leads a tasting masterclass, sampling wines from multi award-winning Bodegas Beronia.
Then you’ll don an apron and take your place in the cookery school kitchen to recreate two classic pinchos dishes. The deceptively simple pan con tomate, and sweet and savoury salt cod-stuffed piquillo peppers.
Round off your night by enjoying your delicious efforts with a perfectly matched glass of wine.
Beronia Wine’s Txoko Club takes place from 6.30pm – 9pm, and tickets are priced at £50 per person.
