London’s largest contemporary art festival is coming to King’s Cross
For one night – all night – art is put into extraordinary locations around London. This year, Art Night opens at King’s Cross at 5pm and 7pm in Walthamstow. See works by Christine Sun Kim, Barbara Kruger, Julie Cunningham and Frances Stark plus more than 40 independently curated projects. The Victoria line is running all night to take you between the venues.
The projects in and around King’s Cross can be seen here. You’ll find the Art Night Visitor Information Centre in Kiosk NIC on Lower Stable Street. Look out for Art Night offers at the stores, bars and restaurants. Plus Canopy Market is open late with street food, desserts and drinks.
For families, and anyone not up for an all-nighter, the action continues on Sunday, with several of the artworks available to visit on the Family Trail. Also on the Sunday at King’s Cross, don’t miss Art Car Boot, Central Saint Martins Degree Show Two and Open House Families – the architecture festival for kids.
More information can be found on the Art Night 2019 website.
