designjunction, the cutting edge product design show is returning to King’s Cross after producing successful events here in 2016 and 2017. The event will be open to the public from 19 to 22 September with a private viewing taking place on the 18 September 6pm to 10pm.
The event build is taking place between 28 August and 18 September with the dismantle set to take place between 23 September and 4 October. All works will take place between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 1pm on Saturday, with no works on Sunday.
The main event build area will be on Lewis Cubitt Square which will be a large double height temporary structure. The square will be closed to the public and pedestrians will be re-routed along Stable Street from Wednesday 28 September until Friday 4 October.
The existing pedestrian crossing will be moved to the bottom of Tapper Walk and this will be a manned crossing point during work hours. Large deliveries to the square will come off Handyside Street and once the structure is built deliveries will come through Wollstonecraft Street and along the bottom of Lewis Cubitt Square.
