Works on Stable Street: 8 July – 23 August

Posted: Friday 2nd August 2019

Works are taking place until Friday 23 August to install new hydraulic bollards on Stable Street. During this time there will be periods when the footpath at the top of Stable Street is closed to pedestrians.

Until Friday 16 August, Stable Street will be fully closed to traffic, and deliveries to the retail units on Stable Street and Coal Drops Yard will be made via Granary Square.

Stable Street footpath diversions will also be in place via Lewis Cubitt Square during the course of the works.

On Saturday 10 August, these works will be carried out until 1pm. During this time, acoustic blankets will be in use and all reverse alarms will be turned off to keep noise to a minimum. In addition, dust suppression methods will be used. There will be no noisy works on Sunday 11 August.
