Hoarding move at Q1: 1 July 2019 -March 2020

Posted: Friday 14th June 2019

The hoarding around Q1 will be moved out into Handyside Street from Monday 1 until Saturday 20 July while a crane is installed and two manholes are excavated. This extension of the hoarding will only be in place at the junction with York Way from Monday 1 until Monday 15 July. Vehicles will still be able to enter Handyside Street from York Way – this will be one-way only as is currently the case, with vehicles exiting the site via Canal Reach.

In addition, from Monday 15 July 2019 until March 2020, the hoarding will be extended to the north of the site, onto the York Way footpath. The southern footpath will therefore be closed, however there are zebra crossings in place and the footpath on the opposite side of the road will remain open.

King’s Cross apologise for any inconvenience these works may cause.
