Crane erection next to Gasholders London: 24 May

Posted: Friday 17th May 2019

On Friday 24 May, a crane will be in place in the Gasholders London Loading Area, between Gasholders London and Plimsoll Building. This has been arranged by a resident of the Gasholders through a private contractor to lift a new balustrade in through their skylight. This crane will enter the site, carry out the work, and exit the site between 8am and 6pm on Friday.

A full closure of the loading area will take place after 9:30am so as to allow foot traffic during school drop-off time, and the area will reopen in time for school pick-up. Pedestrian access on Wollstonecraft street will remain open at all times.

Access to the Gasholders carpark will be co-ordinated by a traffic marshal.
