Utility works at W Zone & Canal Reach

Posted: Tuesday 15th January 2019

The drainage works on York Way to prepare W zone for the start of construction works, and the construction of a new access road to the plot are approaching completion. Works are also currently underway to provide new utilities to the W zone and S5 plots. This involves the installation of all utilities including gas and water, and the district heating and cooling system. The works will be installed across York Way in two halves and require three way temporary traffic lights.

In addition, works are due to start at the end of January to extend the various utilities along Canal Reach to York Way. This work will involve footpath diversions and a period of one way traffic running on Canal Reach. These works are planned to continue through til late April.

King’s Cross apologise for any inconvenience these works may cause.
