Temporary Closure of Handyside Street on 9 September

Posted: Wednesday 5th September 2018

On Sunday 9 September 2018 from 6am until 6pm Handyside Street will be closed to traffic between the West Handyside Canopy and Stable Street to allow the installation of roof plant on Building R7 via a mobile crane. The plant is part of the works to facilitate the opening of a new restaurant in R7.

During the period, access to Handyside Street (west of Lewis Cubitt Park) and Canal Reach will be via Goods Way and Stable Street as the one way on Stable Street will be reversed to allow traffic to travel north only.

Access/exit from the ArtHouse car park and West Handyside Canopy will not be affected.

You can view a map of the affected area here.
