Festive Shopping Weekender
Enjoy two extended weekends of Christmas shopping at Coal Drops Yard from 13-16 Dec and 20-23 Dec, with shopping until 8pm and free parking from Thursday through to Sunday. Get into the Christmas spirit with light installations, music, mulled wine, roasted chestnuts and hot chocolate as well as festive workshops.
Christmas Canopy Market
Canopy Market gets a design make-over as part of our Christmas by Design season. New pop-ups from independent designers and makers every day and workshops by the Design Museum and Darkroom. Space Frames by Studio Meike Meijer
The giant sculptural lights, Space Frames, that are placed in and around Coal Drops Yard during the festive period are the work of Eindhoven-based design studio Mieke Meijer. The dynamic installation responds to the architecture of their Coal Drops Yard location, tracing the arches and mimicking the graphic outlines of coal drops industrial structures. 1 Nov-6 Jan.
Veuve Clicquot winter terrace
St Pancras Renaissance Hotel has partnered with Veuve Clicquot to bring the festive spirit to their winter terrace, featuring a pop-up champagne bar serving Veuve Clicquot’s refined classic Yellow Label and the fruity Veuve Clicquot Rosé bubbles. Find out more and book. 08 Nov – 29 Dec.
THE FACE covers archive
See THE FACE covers archive, an outdoor exhibition exploring how the infamous magazine re-defined youth culture across the globe for more than twenty years. The covers on display span the years 1980-2001. Find the exhibition on Lewis Cubitt Square.

Matter of Stuff Christmas Gallery

New Year’s Eve: Northern Lights Party with Aurora Orchestra
Light up New Year’s Eve with this special festival-style party of live music, dance, food and drink at Kings Place. Kate Bush Pop-up Shop
Coinciding with the release of definitive remastered versions of her music catalogue, as well as the publication by Faber of the lyric book How To Be Invisible, this special Kate Bush pop up store will sell vinyl, CDs and book plus a selection of exclusive specially made items.
