Christmas Under the Canopy
Canopy Market will be open every day in the run-up to Christmas. Expect carol singers, live jazz, free workshops and tastings (see the full listing and book your spot here), plus all the festive food and unique gifts you can dream of. Each week there is a different theme plus, new this year, get everything you need for the Christmas table at The Market Larder. Canopy market finishes for Christmas on December 22nd and is back in the New Year on January 17th.

Bjorn the Bear
Come and meet Bjorn the Polar Bear. This magical, interactive performance is a cross between an animatronic petting zoo and a nature documentary. During the show, you will find out about how polar bears survive in the Arctic and get the opportunity to interact with Bjorn – he’s very friendly.
Performances are 30 minutes and take place at 1.30pm, 3.30pm and 5.30pm on Saturday 14th and 11.30am, 1.30pm and 2.30pm on Sunday 15th.

Northern Brights
Coal Drops Yard has been transformed into a fluorescent winter wonderland, with colourful flocked trees and multi-coloured illuminations inspired by the natural beauty of the Northern Lights. Head here for a totally relaxed festive shopping experience.

Daily Workshops at Canopy Market
Between Friday 29 November and Sunday 22 December, Canopy Market brings you a whole array of free seasonal workshops. The Drop's Christmas Market
Coal Drop Yard’s friendly wine bar, The Drop, has rounded up some pals to put on a Christmas Market for lovers of food, drink and entertaining. Find thoughtful presents for the discerning hosts in your life. Expect wines, cheeses, preserves, as well as wine accessories, aprons, glassware, tableware plus a few surprises.
London City Brass will be at The Drop’s Christmas Market on Saturday, playing two sets of Christmas songs at 12-12.30pm and 1-1.30pm. On Sunday, Sing the Easy Way will be performing at 3 x 20-minute sets with all your Christmas favourites from 12 pm.

Artist David Batchelor is behind this year’s tree – King’s Xmas. The tree is a celebration of Batchelor’s love of colour, industrial materials and geometry and transforms from day to night. Come and see it at Granary Square.
