King's Cross

an extraordinary piece of London is taking shape

The Connections

  • International rail – Eurostar direct to Paris, Brussels and Lille
  • National rail – two major rail termini (King’s Cross and St Pancras), and only 500 metres to a third (Euston)
  • Underground – six tube lines – the biggest interchange on London Underground
  • Air – London’s five international airports within the hour
  • Bus – 14 bus routes
  • Bike – planned 800 space bike interchange

London's gateway to Europe

St Pancras International is home to the Eurostar which connects the UK to the continent by high speed rail. There are direct services to Paris, Brussels and Lille. And in 2015 these will be joined by high speed rail to Germany on the ICE trains. The Eurostar now carries more passengers than all the airlines combined on the same routes.

"I like that you can get on the train after lectures and be in Paris for dinner."
